Day 678 - Wrote My Initials With The Crowbar

Shoes: Black and red orb seal 'Lady Dragon' Vivienne Westwood/Melissa

Apologies for the lack of posts this week, the weather has been proper rubbish and it hasn't been worth getting dressed to go out and get soaked!  I've literally spent the last few days in my jammies!  I was suffering a bit today and needed fresh air and it did seem more promising weather-wise.  Of course by the time I got ready, it started raining!  I had to wait another 2 hours until it cleared.  Welcome to a Scottish summer : (

Wearing: Dog print dress and leggings Primark, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan.
Fit: True to size, adjustable slingback, 4 1/4" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 677 - Stay Here Don't Put Out The Glow

Shoes:  Pink satin shoes Miu Miu

I have to stop buying navy polka dot dresses!  I've had this one for months but never worn it yet, then bought one in Primark a couple of weeks ago, there's the smaller spot Uttam one I got quite recently and I still have a wrap-over by Barbara Hulanicki and an old Tesco one with peter-pan collar.  That's the ones I can remember, there's possibly more!  I'm sure I own several black and white spotty ones too, hmm I have a problem.  They are so easy to style though, but always look great with minimal effort!  I thought I'd do something a little different with these shoes today and add some shoe clips from my So-Yeon Sarah shoes.  Oh and I had to lol and keep the image of Legolas about to shoot my big bow for you to see...!

Wearing:  Navy spot midi-dress and swallow cardigan  Dorothy Perkins, shoe scarf gift, shoe clips/bow Irregular Choice.
Fit: True to size. 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: No issues with these.

Day 676 - Life In Plastic, It's Fantastic!

Shoes: Pewter sandals Miu Miu

I was busy with eBay stuff on Sunday and busy with blog stuff today, so didn't go anywhere.  This outfit is from Saturday and although I wore the shoes recently, the rest of the outfit was new.  I could not resist these leggings from Miss Selfridge!  They do a bodysuit too, which I may also have purchased (I so did)!  I'm going to cut the bottom off and just wear it as a vest under dresses.  I have a haul post including those pieces lined up for this week.  I also got this dress, a couple of weeks back from the new range by Kelly Brook at New Look.  I never expected it to fit, but it is quite generously cut or at least cut to suit my hourglass shape. I kinda liked the monochrome spots paired with the bright pattern of the leggings.

Wearing: Polka dot dress Kelly Brook for New Look, Barbie leggings Miss Selfridge, cardigan Be Beau at Matalan, velvet bow hairband gift, Mischief sunglasses Irregular Choice.
Fit: True to size, tie front, 4 1/2" heel.
Comfort: Generally pretty comfortable and easy to walk in.

Day 675 - Honey Got A Booty Like Pow, Pow, Pow

Shoes: Yellow and blue 'Ruth' wedge London College of Fashion & New Look

It was supposed to rain yesterday but didn't thankfully, so I got out for a wee walk.  I thought I'd wear a really bright outfit because it was a bit dull outside.  I love the little hula-girls on this dress I bought the other week.  These wedges are certainly a work-out for the legs.  I'm not saying they are difficult to walk in but you do just have to remain aware that you're high-up and have further to fall!  It takes concentration when walking to ensure you're not going to step on something that will make you topple and they're very heavy to lift!

Wearing:  Frill dress H by Henry Holland (and belt taken from other HH dress), cardigan Be Beau at Matalan,  leggings Primark, hairband gift.
Fit: True to size, 6 3/4" heel and 2 1/4" platform.
Comfort: Didn't have any issues with them hurting...you have to be careful at walking (really concentrate), but I managed quite a good pace without toppling!

Day 674 - But She Ain't Messin' With No Broke

Shoes:  Pink jelly wedges 'Kyle' Harajuku Lovers

I thought I'd worn these wedges on the blog before, but a quick check reveals I haven't!  They are yet another pair that I've had for years and unearthed from the bottom of the shoe-box pile so I could wear them during summer.  The fit is a little strange, usually in American sized shoes I need an 8 or at least a 7.5, but these are only a 7.  I can remember ordering the larger size and although they were tight across the foot, there was masses extra in length, so I ordered the size down.  Again, they are tight across the foot (but no more than the larger size) and you can see they fit better at the front.  The ankle strap is also super-long with me wearing it in the last hole (unheard of for me) and it was still gaping, so smaller ankles may need to pierce another hole or two.  They are almost like flatforms, so I felt a little flat-footed and strange in them, but they are a fun shoe for summer.

Wearing: Parrot print maxi-dress G21 at Asda, bow cardigan New Look.
Fit:  See above, run large in length but narrow, adjustable buckle fastening.  4" wedge heel, 1 1/2" platform.
Comfort:  Because they're tight they might bug you after a while.
